Sainik School Admission Eligibility 2021

Students need to fulfill the Sainik School admission eligibility 2022 before applying online.

Only Boys are allowed to apply for Sainik School admission 2022.

Students need to follow the minimum age limit and education qualification as per the guidelines of

 Sainik school admission process. Below, we have mentioned the eligibility criteria as per

Eligibility for Sainik School admission 2022 for Class 6

• Boys whose age is between 10 and 12 years as on March 31, 2022.
• Girlss whose age is between 10 and 12 years as on March 31, 2022.
• Students should be studying in Class V in a recognized school.(class is not mandatory)

Eligibility for Sainik School admission 2022 for Class 9

• Boys who have an age between 13-14 years as on March 31, 2022.
• Students should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school.(mandatory)

Sainik School Admission Form 2022

The prospectus and AISSEE admission form 2022 will be issued online. Students can register

themselves for Sainik school admission on aissee.nta.nic.in.

The process of submitting the Sainik school admission online application is quite simple.

 Below are some steps that need to be followed to complete the Sainik school admission process 2022.

Step 1: Sainik School Registration Online

• Visit the official website: aissee.nta.nic.in.
• Click on the "Application" link given on the home page.
• A new page will open with instructions about the fee and documents required.
• Read these instructions carefully and click on the "Proceed" tab.
• Now, Sainik School admission 2021 form will appear on your screen with your personal information,

 Medium of Exam, School Applied For, Choice of Exam Centres, Father's and Mother's details and permanent address.

• After that, click on "Save" to generate the User ID and Password and save the same.

Step 2: Upload Photograph & Signature

• Upload the scanned copy of the passport-sized photograph.
• Upload the signature of the candidate in the given size and format.
• Both the scanned copies should be in .jpg format.
• The size of the photograph and signature image should be less than 1 MB.

Step 3: Online Fee Payment

• After uploading the scanned images, students have to pay the
• Sainik school fees of Rs. 550/- (Rs. 400 for SC/ST) in online mode.
• Students can pay the fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
• There will be additional transaction charges of Rs. 30/-.

Step 4: Upload Documents

• Now students have to upload the scanned copies of the Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, and Caste certificate.
• The format should be .jpg, .png, .pdf
• The size of each document should not be more than 2 MB.
• General and Defence category students need not upload the caste certificate.

Step 5: Download Confirmation Page

• After completing the above steps, a confirmation page will be generated.
• Students should check all the details available in the Sainik School admission form 2022 
• and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Step 6: Submit the Sainik School Admission 2021 Form

Now, click on "Submit" to finally submit the admission form.

Sainik School Admission 2022 Merit List

The final merit list of Sainik school admission 2022 will be based on the total marks obtained by the students.

 The rank for AISSEE 2022 admission will be determined on the basis of their marks in the

Sainik School entrance exam and medical test.

Below are some tie-breaking rules that are considered while making the merit list.

• If multiple students scored the same overall marks, one securing more marks in mathematics will be considered.
• If still there is a tie between students, marks of English subject will be considered for Class 9 and
•  marks obtained in Intelligence Test will be considered for Class 6.
• If tie persists, marks for General Science (Class IX)/ Language (class VI) will be taken into account.
• At last, if the tie persists then the younger one will be selected.

While appearing for the medical exam, students have to carry their admit card and

AISSEE 2022 result card with their passport size photograph.

Sainik School Admission 2022 Reservation

There will be a reservation policy for Sainik school 2022 admission for different categories.

The final selection will be based on these reservation norms.

• A total of 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates
• The reservation for ST candidates is 7.5% seats.
• The reservation for OBC candidates is 27% seats.

• There is also the reservation for home state students is 67% seats
• Remaining 33% seats are reserved for students belonging to other states and union territories.
• Seats that are left unfilled in this category will be merged with seats of the home state.
